Joanne was kind enough to find this out and send it to me. For some reason I had it stuck in my head that Dennis Miller was still on HBO, but its actually on CNBC.
From the description it almost sounds like a PI type show.

CNBC - The 27th at 9:00PM ET and the 28th at 12:00AM ET.
The other guests are Actor Tom Selleck, Representative David Dreier, author Maureen Orth, Panelist: Jay Nordlinger, Sophie B. Hawkins, Wayne Allyn Root.
Blasting hot-button issues with his pragmatic venting, Miller will highlight current events with a "Daily Rorschach," a high-speed blitz of monologue jokes, news photos and videotape clips. Topic-specific guests will appear as philosophical sparring partners, and then matters will move on to a panel drawn from the worlds of news, entertainment, politics and business.
One of the symptoms of an approaching nervous breakdown is the belief that one's work is terribly important. -- Bertrand Russell, Philosopher

Can someone maybe tape this (and the other recent shows featuring Sophie) and convert it to a QuickTime movie, or something?

Damn, I miss everything...

Ok! That's a start at least. Hold onto them for dear life (I know you will!)

We'll figure out the converting thing later. I just feel more comfortable knowing someone out there has the stuff, even if I have to wait years to see it.

Sophie did great. She sure is one smart cookie not taking the bait Dennis Miller wanted her to.
I wish the spot lasted longer. Like she said she works 27 hours a day so all you arm chair critics give her a F***ing break and worry about your own lives.

Well said Joanne. She did a great job and was just adorable up there.

And yes she did do a good job with moving right on through Millers question.
She didn't miss a beat with that.

She was awesome.
When that one guy said he was going to vote for Bush cause he keeps his children safe at night and Sophie just dropped her head on the desk, that was great!
She did a wonderful job of not being baited and she was beautiful and brilliant.

Does anyone know if it is on again? My husband was upset he missed it. (And he claims not to love Sophie! HAH!)

:) Yeah Sophie did a remarkable job on the show, held her own and allowed others to see another side of her, she is one remarkable woman. As for working the hours she does, i totally can understand, its what one does in the entertainment field, as probably some of you know. And for the ones that want to bitttttttttt about anything, or about her cd, you do it, and see what it is like. Our 8 hr days are called half days or 8 and skate.

Ruth as far as the show being on again, you can try looking up the DMShow, or calling NBC the easier way i think is looking it up and if no information then emailing them.

GO SOPHIE, GO SOPHIE
YOU GO GIRL
when she dropped her head on the desk, after that Bush comment, it was wonderful.
Think about it, kids being kidnapped, taken out of their homes, off the street, shot by ddrive bys, ect. I certainly don't think my kid is safe at night with Bush in office, oh please!!!!!!!!!! He talks out the side of his neck, runs on his fathers coat tails, and can we please have a Fla recount!

Dawn :oops

I thought she was great too. She was just very classy in the way she made her point and gave her opinions. The others on the panel may not have agreed with her but they did at least seem to listen, and didn't try to shout her down as is the norm on most of these right-wing shows where there's usually a lot of hostility and bitterness.

I think she could have a career as a diplomat :)

And, I have to say this but didn't her hair look great? I don't know what she did to it but it looked good! Sophie, darling, you are simply gorgeous!
