The TV Guide Channel is running a Music News segment on Sophie. The piece will air throughout the day on June 26.

I highly doubt it. All it is is a preview channel of what's coming on... TV Guide on the TV. I know all the people with dishes I know have their own version of that provided through the company.

They have a scrolling TV Guide at the bottom half of the screen, and the top half plays commercials and various entertainment news segments, including Music News. Very short segments.

As with The Test on FX, I will be taping (or trying to) the TV Guide Channel segment. If I catch it (and I should, the segments run at specific times), it will be on the tape right after The Test, so if someone needs it let me know.

I checked, and there's a Satellite edition of the TV Guide channel. The catch is that I have to pay $5.00 to get it for one month. I guess Sophie's well worth it, but can't they just throw something like that in with a basic package? Sheesh. There is also a DirecTV Preview channel, which is similar. I'm hoping that if I buy a month of this TV Guide channel, it will air Sophie like the regular TV Guide channels do. The word's "Satellite Version" scare me :-)
